Angela Schwab, AIA • Architect
Angela’s unique approach to the practice of architecture is influenced by her background in ceramics and product design. Following the completion of her BFA in ceramics from the University of Colorado at Boulder, Angela ran a small ceramic design and production studio in the RiNo district in Denver where she focused on innovative household product design. Her work has been exhibited worldwide and garnered international attention, appearing in shelter and design publications. Her magnetic slip-cast cup gained her a design commission with Umbra, an international housewares manufacturer.
Angela completed her Masters in Architecture at the University of Colorado at Denver in 2012 and has been a designer with Arch11 since, working on residential and restaurant projects. A native of West Virginia by way of Malawi and Zimbabwe, Angela now calls Golden, Colorado home. She and her husband have raised four puppies to be Guide Dogs for the Blind.
