Mat Brundage • Designer
Mat received his Bachelors of Environmental Design from University of Colorado at Boulder, and spent a term at the University of New South Wales extensively studying sustainable practices. It was there he began thinking of architecture as being a component of site versus a component on site. In his opinion, good design effortlessly sits within the landscape. It should keep the inhabitants warm with sunlight, cool with natural ventilation, and hydrated (or irrigated) by harvesting or channeling water. But most importantly, it is a place clients are proud to call home.
He continued his interest in green technologies by earning a LEED AP BD+C credential from the USGBC while attaining his Master of Architecture at the University of Colorado at Denver.
In his free time, he closes his eyes in his favorite record store and grabs a fresh (or not so fresh) pressing, because every artist brings something unique to the table.
