Arch11 » Awards http://arch11.com Thu, 20 May 2010 03:21:34 +0000 http://wordpress.org/?v=2.9.1 en hourly 1 Syncline House Wins Sub-Zero / Wolf Kitchen Design Contest http://arch11.com/2010/02/15/arch11-subzero-wolf/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=arch11-subzero-wolf http://arch11.com/2010/02/15/arch11-subzero-wolf/#comments Mon, 15 Feb 2010 16:32:46 +0000 Arch11 http://arch11.beyond5280.com/?p=1462 Arch11 was selected as the Colorado Regional winner of the Sub-Zero / Wolf Kitchen Design Contest for the Syncline House. The contest winners were announced at an awards ceremony held on February 4, 2010 at Roth Distributing in Denver, Colorado.  A nationally known and recognized biannual awards program, the contest acknowledges kitchens that were designed and built between January 1, 2008 and December 31, 2009. Our entry now advances to the national competition; winners will be announced at the Breakers Resort in Palm Beach, Florida March 28, 2010.  Additionally, we were awarded Regional Award of Designers Choice by our peers in attendance at the February awards ceremony.

The selection committee noted, “Arch 11 exhibits a firmly-held belief in the poetics of space and willingness to embrace and be leaders in the disciplines of technology and sustainability,” and “their commitment to craft, detailing and design integrity is unparalleled….arch 11 exhibits a critical sensitivity to the power of place.”
