Bank of Boulder
Reacting to the opacity and formality implicit in the banking industry, Arch11′s Bank of Boulder is an “anti-bank”, a bank for people who don’t like banks. The building’s clearly articulated concept and design are in keeping with the bank’s philosophy of making banking a transparent industry. Each element is as accessible as the bank’s policies, allowing the building to explain itself. Oriented towards Boulder’s foothills and lively downtown area, this luminous glass box provides a straightforward experience for customers, and a view for the tellers.
