Sun Power

Home to a non-profit agency providing energy conservation measures to low income people in Colorado, the SunPower building exemplifies its mission.  Renovation of the concrete block and steel frame hybrid building included super-insulated walls and skylit corridors.  Offices are daylight by light-shelves designed into Heat-Mirror glazing.  Active PV and solar hot water augment the building’s energy use.
