Baseline Lake Residence

Set on a bluff, the horizontal form and single band of glazing reiterate the horizon of the eastern plains and mark  where the mountains leave the plains.  With a very modest budget, this 3500 square foot super-insulated residence is designed to LEED gold standards.  The house employs passive house technologies and super-insulation to reduce heat and cooling loads. The low profile form and planted green roof weave the house into the landscape.
