A native of Colorado, Anna joined Arch11 in 2014 after earning both her bachelor and master degrees from The University of Colorado. While completing her master’s degree, Anna founded, edited, and published [arch]ive, a critical publication of academic works at University of Colorado Denver’s College of Architecture. She also participated in CU’s renowned Design Build program, Colorado Building Workshop.
As part of the program, she had the opportunity to design and construct an introspective residence for a Navajo family in Bluff, Utah. From pouring foundations, to running electrical, and installing cabinetry; her team worked together to realize the project from concept design through construction. Through this hands-on approach Anna gained a thorough understanding of building assemblies, appreciation of craft and true collaboration.
As part of the Arch11 team, Anna has worked on a variety of residential and commercial projects ranging in scale and complexity. From concept to completion she drives an integrated approach to design; seamlessly connecting the building’s interiors and exteriors to the landscape. She is a licensed Colorado architect and active AIA member.
Inspired by the great outdoors, she spends her time outside the office exploring the unrefined landscape through skiing, running, and hiking.
