A native of Minnesota, John received a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Minnesota’s College of Architecture and Landscape Architecture. First working through college at a large multi-disciplinary firm, then moving on to the smaller, more detailed environment of custom residential architecture, John has acquired a diverse set of architectural skills. John has an uncanny patience for problem solving and excels at managing complex projects with high levels of detail. Working in Boulder since 2004, he continues to pursue excellence in architecture at small, distinguished firms.

John volunteers with bike trail building in the area, and enjoys outdoor adventures of all kinds in Colorado’s colorful landscape. He is currently rebuilding his 1971 BMW “toaster” motorbike.
