Whiskey Tango Foxtrot

Approached by a restaurant group, Arch11 designed WTF, a neighborhood social house, in the revitalized Denver rail yards.

An ode to the prohibition-era speakeasy, Whisky Tango Foxtrot (WTF) is an insertion into a 1930’s-era bag factory that offers an intimate drinking and dining experience along with a spacious roof-top deck.

Upon entering, patrons are greeted by a curved peninsula bar with a richly textured concrete surface that glows under the light of concealed LEDs. Floating above the bar top, an undulating stainless steel soffit with a dusky blue patina delineates the bar area and the dining area beyond and does double duty as storage for 90-plus varieties of whiskey. The amber-hued bottles and the muscular Perlick stainless beer taps are the centerpieces of the back bar design.
