Park Pavilions

Partnering with the landscape architects CIVITAS, Arch11 conceptually tied these modern pavilions to the agricultural history of the Colorado prairie.

Taking inspiration from traditional steel frame structures, each pavilion is thought of as a deformed box, creating unique roof profiles in the landscape. The deformations are further highlighted by applying colors to these moments which are drawn from native Colorado plant species. The roofs then allow light to filter through the pavilions and create passive rain water collection points.
